As a Data Analysis Assistant at Zomato, you'll be the secret ingredient in Zomato's recipe for success. You'll wear many hats, from cleaning and wrangling data to performing analysis, generating reports, and presenting insights that inform everything from restaurant recommendations to targeted promotions and delivery optimizations.

Responsibilities:

• Collect, clean, and prepare data from various internal and external sources.
• Perform data analysis using statistical and visualization tools to identify trends and patterns.
• Create reports and dashboards that communicate insights clearly and concisely to stakeholders.
• Support data-driven decision making across various departments, including marketing, operations, and product development.
• Assist with the development and implementation of new data analysis models and processes.
• Stay updated on the latest data analysis trends and tools.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure data-driven decision making is integrated seamlessly.

Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools, such as Excel, SQL, and Python (preferred).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and identify solutions.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in data handling.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for food and a deep understanding of the online food ordering and delivery industry (a plus).
• Adaptability, willingness to learn, and a desire to grow within the data analysis field.
