Zomato, a leading global food delivery platform, is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our expanding team. As a BDR, you will play a crucial role in expanding Zomato's reach and acquiring new restaurant partners. You will be responsible for identifying, prospecting, and onboarding new restaurants, ensuring seamless integration into Zomato's platform, and building strong relationships with restaurant owners and managers. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, a deep understanding of the restaurant industry, and a proven track record of success in closing deals.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and prospect potential restaurant partners, using various channels such as online research, industry events, and referrals.
  • Qualify leads and prioritize opportunities based on their suitability for Zomato's platform and target audience.
  • Conduct initial outreach to potential restaurant partners, introducing Zomato's services and benefits.
  • Schedule and conduct sales meetings with restaurant owners and managers, presenting Zomato's value proposition and addressing their concerns.
  • Negotiate and close deals with restaurant partners, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Support onboarding of new restaurant partners, providing training and guidance on using Zomato's platform and managing their online presence.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with restaurant partners, fostering loyalty and ensuring their continued success on Zomato's platform.
  • Track sales performance and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure progress against individual and team targets.
