The Accounting Director is responsible for providing leadership and oversight of the accounting department. This includes developing and implementing accounting policies and procedures, managing the accounting staff, and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial records. The Accounting Director also works closely with the CFO and other senior management to provide financial analysis and advice to support the bank's strategic objectives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures
• Manage the accounting staff
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records
• Prepare financial statements and reports
• Provide financial analysis and advice to senior management
• Oversee the bank's compliance with accounting regulations
• Represent the bank to external auditors and other regulatory agencies

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Strong organizational and time management skills

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
• CPA certification
• 10+ years of experience in accounting, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
