Summary

We are searching for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a File Clerk. You will be responsible for the accurate filing, retrieval, and maintenance of our paper and electronic documents. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the smooth operation of our business by keeping essential information readily accessible.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, sort, classify, and file paper and electronic documents according to established filing systems.
  • Maintain accurate filing systems, both physical and digital, to ensure the efficient retrieval of documents.
  • Assist colleagues in locating and retrieving files promptly.
  • Scan paper documents into electronic format, ensuring accuracy and proper organization.
  • Perform data entry tasks as needed to maintain accurate electronic records.
  • Assist with shredding and disposal of outdated documents in accordance with company policies.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all documents and information handled.
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a clerical or administrative role (For experienced candidates)
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn new processes and technologies.

Experience
