As our Director of Sales in North Dumdum, you'll be the architect of our sales strategy, leading a team of talented individuals to achieve ambitious revenue targets and establish Lenskart as the preferred eyewear destination for the local community. Your strategic acumen, leadership skills, and deep understanding of the retail landscape will be instrumental in building a robust sales infrastructure, optimizing operations, and exceeding customer expectations.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies for online and offline channels in North Dumdum, aligned with regional and national objectives.
• Build and lead a high-performing team of sales associates, store managers, and other sales support personnel.
• Foster a culture of excellence, coaching and mentoring team members to achieve their full potential.
• Implement effective training programs to equip your team with the necessary product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service skills.
• Oversee all aspects of sales operations, including store management, inventory control, pricing, and promotional activities.
• Monitor and analyze sales performance data, identifying areas for improvement and optimizing strategies for maximum impact.
• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including landlords, local businesses, and community leaders.
• Ensure adherence to Lenskart's brand guidelines and customer service standards across all touchpoints.
• Represent Lenskart at industry events and conferences, promoting the brand and building stronger relationships.

Skills:

• Minimum 8 years of experience in a leadership role within the retail or e-commerce sector, preferably in the eyewear industry.
• Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and achieving ambitious business goals.
• Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire individuals.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Deep understanding of the Indian retail landscape and consumer behavior.
• Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation to draw actionable insights from sales data.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
• Fluency in Bengali and English is essential.
