The Credit Analyst is responsible for assessing the creditworthiness of loan applicants. This includes gathering and analyzing financial data, evaluating credit history, and making recommendations on whether or not to approve a loan. The Credit Analyst must have a strong understanding of financial analysis and risk management.
Responsibilities:
- Gather and analyze financial data for loan applicants
- Evaluate credit history and other factors that may affect a borrower's ability to repay a loan
- Make recommendations on whether or not to approve a loan
- Prepare credit reports and other documentation
- Stay up-to-date on the latest credit trends and regulations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field
- 1-2 years of experience in credit analysis
- Strong understanding of financial analysis
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
