Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated QA Tester to join our remote team and play a vital role in ensuring the quality of our software products. You will be responsible for the entire testing lifecycle, from designing and executing test cases to reporting defects and collaborating with developers to resolve them. You will work closely with product owners, developers, and other testers to ensure software meets all functional and non-functional requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, execute, and document comprehensive test plans and test cases for assigned software applications.
• Perform manual and exploratory testing to identify bugs, defects, and usability issues.
• Utilize automation tools and frameworks to improve test coverage and efficiency (a plus).
• Analyze test results, identify root causes of defects, and report them using bug tracking systems.
• Collaborate with developers to understand code changes and ensure effective retesting.
• Stay updated on the latest testing methodologies and best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback on software quality.
• Maintain clear and concise test documentation for future reference.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 1 year of experience in software testing (freshers with strong academic background will also be considered).
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC) and testing methodologies (e.g., black-box testing, white-box testing).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
• Proficient in writing clear and concise test documentation.

Experience:

This role is open to both experienced QA Testers and enthusiastic freshers. While experience is preferred, we are eager to consider candidates with a strong academic background in computer science or a related field and a demonstrable passion for software quality.
