As a Sales Associate, you will be the face of our company, providing exceptional customer service and creating a positive shopping experience for our customers. Responsibilities:

1. Deliver exceptional customer service: Greet and engage with customers in a friendly and approachable manner. Assist customers in finding their desired books, recommending additional titles, and providing product information. Actively listen to customers' needs and offer personalized suggestions and solutions. Strive to exceed customer expectations and create a memorable shopping experience.
2. Drive sales and meet targets: Proactively promote and upsell products to maximize sales opportunities. Stay up-to-date with the latest book releases, bestsellers, and promotions to effectively guide customers in their purchasing decisions. Actively participate in achieving individual and team sales targets. Demonstrate strong knowledge of Indigo's products and services to effectively address customer inquiries.
3. Maintain store standards: Ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, and visually appealing. Merchandise products according to company guidelines and standards. Regularly restock shelves and ensure product availability. Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system. Contribute to inventory management by conducting stock checks and reporting discrepancies to the management team.
