Responsibilities:

• Analyze and interpret financial data to identify cost variances and areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement cost control measures to optimize resource utilization and reduce expenses.
• Prepare accurate and timely cost reports, budgets, and forecasts for management review.
• Provide cost-benefit analysis for new projects and initiatives to support informed decision-making.
• Maintain and update cost accounting systems and procedures in accordance with established accounting standards.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as Operations and Procurement, to ensure cost-effective practices.

Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CA/CMA preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in cost accounting in a banking or financial services environment.
• Proven ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and draw actionable insights.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on cost optimization.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and financial modeling software.
