The Technology Officer (TO) is a senior-level technical leader responsible for the strategic direction and execution of Google's technology infrastructure. The TO works closely with the CEO, SVP of Engineering, and other senior leaders to define and implement the company's long-term technology roadmap. The TO is also responsible for leading a team of engineers and architects in the design, development, and operation of Google's global technology infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute the company's long-term technology roadmap
  • Lead a team of engineers and architects in the design, development, and operation of Google's global technology infrastructure
  • Ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of Google's technology infrastructure
  • Work with product teams to develop and implement new technologies that support Google's products and services
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and trends in the tech industry
  • Represent Google at industry events and conferences




Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Attention to detail

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience in a technical leadership role
  • Proven track record of success in delivering complex technical projects
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing technologies
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
