Google is looking for a talented and experienced Petroleum Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing new methods for extracting oil and gas from the Earth. You will also work with scientists and geologists to identify new sources of oil and gas and to develop strategies for mitigating the environmental impact of oil and gas production.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop new methods for extracting oil and gas from the Earth.
  • Work with scientists and geologists to identify new sources of oil and gas.
  • Develop strategies for mitigating the environmental impact of oil and gas production.
  • Supervise the drilling and extraction of oil and gas wells.
  • Analyze data to optimize oil and gas production.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest technological advances in petroleum engineering.
  • Contribute to the development of new products and services related to petroleum engineering.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in petroleum engineering or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in the petroleum industry.
  • Strong technical skills in petroleum engineering, geology, and mathematics.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
