The Controller is responsible for the overall financial management of Google. This includes overseeing the preparation of financial statements, managing the company's budget, and ensuring that all financial transactions are accurate and compliant with applicable laws and regulations. The Controller also works closely with other members of the finance team to develop and implement financial strategies that support Google's business goals.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the preparation of financial statements, including the balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement.
• Manage the company's budget and ensure that it is aligned with the company's strategic goals.
• Monitor financial performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement financial controls to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the company's financial data.
• Work with other members of the finance team to develop and implement financial strategies that support Google's business goals.
• Represent Google to external auditors and regulatory agencies.
• Provide financial analysis and reporting to senior management.
• Stay up-to-date on changes in accounting standards and tax laws.
