Description

Flipkart Recruitment 2023

The Accountant is responsible for the day-to-day accounting operations of Flipkart. This includes processing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with all applicable accounting regulations. The Accountant will also work closely with other members of the finance team to develop and implement financial strategies that support the company's growth and profitability goals.




Responsibilities:

  • Process financial transactions in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and company policies.
  • Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Analyze financial data and identify trends.
  • Prepare reports for management and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable accounting regulations.
  • Work closely with other members of the finance team to develop and implement financial strategies.




Skills:

  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
