The Credit Authorizer is responsible for assessing the creditworthiness of potential customers and authorizing credit limits. This includes reviewing credit reports, verifying income and employment, and making decisions about whether or not to extend credit. The Credit Authorizer also works with customers to resolve billing disputes and delinquent accounts.

Responsibilities

• Review credit reports and other financial information to assess the creditworthiness of potential customers.
• Authorize credit limits and terms for customers.
• Work with customers to resolve billing disputes and delinquent accounts.
• Monitor customer accounts for signs of financial trouble.
• Prepare reports and presentations on credit trends and risk management.
• Stay up-to-date on changes to credit laws and regulations.

Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to make sound financial decisions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with credit scoring systems and software.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in credit analysis or a related field.
• Certified Credit Analyst (CCA) certification preferred.
