The Accounts Payable Executive is responsible for the timely and accurate processing of invoices, ensuring that all payments are made in accordance with company policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and analytical skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

• Receive, review, and process invoices for accuracy and completeness.
• Enter invoices into the accounts payable system.
• Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving reports.
• Approve invoices for payment.
• Prepare checks and transmit payments to vendors.
• Maintain accounts payable records and reconcile accounts.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies.
• Communicate with vendors and other departments regarding invoices and payments.
• Stay up-to-date on changes in accounting policies and procedures.

Skills:

• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Experience with an accounts payable system

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
• 1-3 years of experience in accounts payable
• CPA or CMA certification preferred
