The Position: Sales Consultant

Location: Remote (All India)

We're looking for passionate and driven individuals to join our growing team of Sales Consultants across India. This remote position allows you to work from the comfort of your own space, while serving customers and building relationships with our dealers in your designated region.

Job Summary:

As a Sales Consultant, you'll be the bridge between Asian Paints and our extensive dealer network. Your responsibilities will encompass:

• Building and maintaining strong relationships with assigned dealers.
• Educating dealers on our comprehensive product portfolio, including paints, waterproofing solutions, and décor products.
• Providing expert advice and recommendations to dealers, helping them understand customer needs and suggest the perfect solutions.
• Negotiating and closing sales deals with dealers.
• Monitoring dealer inventory and ensuring timely re-stocking.
• Attending industry events and trade shows to promote Asian Paints products.
• Preparing insightful reports on market trends, sales performance, and competitor analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop a deep understanding of Asian Paints' product portfolio and its unique selling propositions.
• Conduct effective product demonstrations and presentations to dealers.
• Proactively identify customer needs through market research and competitor analysis.
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve assigned targets.
• Build strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster trust and collaboration with dealers.
• Maintain accurate records of sales transactions, inventory levels, and customer interactions.
• Travel to assigned dealer locations when necessary.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum 1 year of experience in sales, preferably in the building materials or paint industry (freshers will also be considered for exceptional candidates).
• Strong understanding of sales principles and techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse clientele.
• Proven negotiation and persuasion skills.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite and CRM software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a target-driven approach.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
