The Revenue Tax Specialist is responsible for providing tax advice and support to the Airtel business. This includes ensuring compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations, identifying and mitigating tax risks, and managing tax-related projects and initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of tax principles and regulations, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

• Provide tax advice and support to the Airtel business on a variety of tax matters, including corporate income tax, withholding tax, value added tax, excise duty, and employment taxes.
• Identify and mitigate tax risks, and develop strategies to minimize tax liability.
• Prepare and file tax returns for Airtel in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Manage tax-related projects and initiatives, such as tax audits and compliance reviews.
• Liaise with tax authorities, external auditors, and other stakeholders on tax matters.
• Stay up-to-date on tax laws and regulations, and identify potential changes that could impact Airtel.
• Provide training and support to other members of the finance team on tax matters.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, taxation, or a related field.
• CPA or other professional accounting qualification.
• 3+ years of experience in tax consulting or accounting.
• Strong understanding of tax principles and regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
