The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for the maintenance and repair of the mechanical components of IndiGo aircraft. This includes inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing engines, airframes, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and other mechanical systems. The Mechanical Engineer must have a strong understanding of aircraft mechanics and be able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

1. Inspect and troubleshoot mechanical systems on aircraft.
2. Perform maintenance and repairs on mechanical systems.
3. Troubleshoot and repair defects reported by pilots and observed during maintenance.
4. Follow all safety procedures and regulations.
5. Keep records of all maintenance and repairs performed.
6. Work with other engineers and technicians to ensure the safe and efficient operation of aircraft.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in aircraft maintenance.
• Strong understanding of aircraft mechanics.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail.
