Wipro is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Petroleum Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in petroleum engineering principles and practices, and will be able to apply their knowledge to solve complex problems in the oil and gas industry. The Petroleum Engineer will be responsible for developing and managing projects related to oil and gas extraction, and will also be involved in research and development of new technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Develop plans for oil and gas extraction, including well design, drilling, and production.
• Use and maintain drilling and fracturing equipment.
• Supervise drillings and extractions.
• Research new ways and new sites for oil and gas extraction.
• Analyze formation of rocks and reservoirs.
• Use computer-aided models to enable drilling.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations.
• Work with other engineers, scientists, and technicians to solve complex problems.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest technologies in the oil and gas industry.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering from a recognized university.
• 3+ years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
• Strong knowledge of petroleum engineering principles and practices.
• Experience with drilling and fracturing equipment.
• Experience with computer-aided modeling software.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
