The Payroll Manager is responsible for the overall administration of the payroll function for Asian Paints. This includes ensuring that all payroll processes are compliant with applicable laws and regulations, accurately calculating and processing employee wages and deductions, and providing timely and accurate payroll reports to management. The Payroll Manager also supervises a team of payroll clerks and assistants.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the entire payroll process, from timekeeping to wage calculation to tax withholding
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, and the Affordable Care Act
• Accurately calculate and process employee wages and deductions
• Prepare and distribute payroll checks and direct deposits
• Maintain accurate payroll records
• Respond to employee inquiries about payroll matters
• Supervise a team of payroll clerks and assistants
• Stay up-to-date on changes to payroll laws and regulations
