The Credit Counselor is responsible for providing financial counseling and education to consumers who are struggling with debt. The Credit Counselor will work with clients to develop a customized debt repayment plan that fits their individual needs and circumstances. The Credit Counselor will also provide ongoing support and guidance to clients as they work to achieve their financial goals.

Responsibilities:

• Assess the financial situation of clients and develop a customized debt repayment plan
• Provide financial counseling and education to clients
• Negotiate with creditors on behalf of clients
• Monitor client progress and make adjustments to the debt repayment plan as needed
• Provide ongoing support and guidance to clients
• Maintain accurate records of client accounts
• Stay up-to-date on the latest financial regulations and trends
