The Accounting Analyst is responsible for providing analytical and technical support to the accounting department. This includes preparing financial reports and statements, reconciling accounts, and auditing financial records. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial reports and statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Reconcile accounts and identify any discrepancies.
- Audit financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Assist with the preparation of tax returns.
- Provide support to the accounting department as needed.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in accounting.
- CPA certification is a plus.
