Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot data loss issues across various storage mediums (hard drives, SSDs, servers, etc.).
  • Implement advanced data recovery techniques and software to retrieve lost or corrupted files.
  • Maintain and update data recovery tools and methodologies to stay ahead of evolving data loss scenarios.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to identify and address potential data loss risks and implement preventive measures.
  • Provide clear and concise communication to customers regarding data recovery progress and potential limitations.

Skills:

  • Proven experience in data recovery with expertise in various recovery techniques and software (e.g., Recuva, Stellar Phoenix Data Recovery, EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard).
  • Strong understanding of data storage systems, file systems (FAT, NTFS, EXT3, etc.), and data corruption causes.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and troubleshoot complex data loss issues.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to data security and confidentiality.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams and communicate technical details to customers in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred).
