As a Purchasing Staff member at Amul, you will be responsible for assisting the Purchasing Manager in procuring raw materials, packaging materials, and other supplies necessary for the company's operations.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing and identifying potential suppliers: Researching and identifying potential suppliers for various materials needed by Amul.
• Requesting and evaluating quotations: Soliciting quotes from suppliers and evaluating them based on price, quality, and delivery time.
• Negotiating and finalizing contracts: Negotiating contracts with suppliers to secure the best possible terms for Amul.
• Maintaining supplier relationships: Building and maintaining positive relationships with key suppliers.
• Processing purchase orders: Processing purchase orders and ensuring timely delivery of materials.
• Maintaining inventory records: Tracking inventory levels and maintaining accurate records.
• Preparing reports: Preparing reports on purchasing activities and costs.

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in procurement or a related role.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of supply chain management principles is a plus.
• Experience in the food and beverage industry is a plus.
