• Analyze engineering drawings and specifications to understand the design intent and manufacturing requirements of components and prototypes.
• Select appropriate CNC machines, tooling, and cutting parameters based on material properties, part geometry, and desired surface finish.
• Develop CNC programs using industry-standard programming languages, such as G-code and M-code.
• Optimize CNC programs for efficiency, accuracy, and cycle time reduction.
• Verify CNC programs through simulation and test runs to ensure proper operation and adherence to design specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve CNC program errors and machine malfunctions during production.
• Maintain and update CNC program documentation, including tool lists, setup procedures, and operating instructions.
