Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Accountant to join our growing team. You will be responsible for a variety of accounting tasks, including:

• Managing accounts payable and receivable
• Preparing financial statements
• Performing complex analyses
• Maintaining the general ledger
• Reconciling accounts
• Providing support to internal and external auditors
• Staying up-to-date on accounting regulations and standards

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the accuracy and timeliness of all accounting transactions.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Perform complex accounting analyses, such as variance analysis and trend analysis.
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure its accuracy and completeness.
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable on a monthly basis.
• Provide support to internal and external auditors during the audit process.
• Stay up-to-date on accounting regulations and standards, such as Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• May supervise and mentor junior accounting staff.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the accounting department.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
• CPA or CMA certification preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior accounting role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Experience

This role is ideal for a seasoned accounting professional with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior accounting role.
